Lounger
Lie back with your legs up. Jets run from the shoulders down to the calves, so one person gets a full-body massage while everyone else sits up.
Sized for a real backyard
The U908 is 78 inches square, about six and a half feet each way, and 38 inches tall. That is two inches taller than the U906 and U907, which is where the deeper seats come from. It holds 310 US gallons (1,175 litres), which most garden hoses fill in somewhere between half an hour and an hour.

The parts you will actually use
Most of what makes a hot tub pleasant to own is hidden in the cabinet. Here is what Be Well put in the U908 and what each piece does for you.
- 3 hp pump, two speeds
- Low speed quietly circulates and heats the water all day. High speed drives all 40 jets when you get in.
- Gecko control system
- The brain of the tub, made by Gecko, a Canadian control maker used across the Be Well range.
- K500 keypad
- A touch keypad on the rim. Set the temperature, switch the jets and lights, and start the waterfall without getting out.
- in.touch 3+ Wi-Fi
- Connects the tub to your home Wi-Fi. Turn the heat up from the couch, or check the water temperature before you walk out to it.
- Waterlab sensor, pre-installed
- A sensor that reads your water and tells the app what to add. Fewer test strips, not zero.
- 220/240 volt, 60 amp
- Runs on a dedicated line that a licensed electrician installs. It is not plug and play; that is the trade for a 3 hp pump and a faster heater.

Be Well Canada Spa has built hot tubs in Canada since 2005. The Uniq Series is their newest line: ten models on four footprints, none of them with an air blower, and every one built so a service tech can reach the parts without cutting into the cabinet.
The U908 sits in the middle of the range. More jets and a stronger pump than the plug and play models, without the two-pump price of the U916.

Questions people ask about the U908
How many people fit?
Six: five upright seats and one lounger. Four adults have room to stretch out; six works for a get-together.
Is it plug and play?
No. The U908 runs on 240 volts and needs a 60 amp line installed by a licensed electrician. If you want plug and play in this series, look at the U906 or U907.
How much water does it hold?
310 US gallons, about 1,175 litres. A garden hose does the job.
Can I control it from my phone?
Yes. in.touch 3+ Wi-Fi is included, so you can set the temperature and lights from your phone before you head outside.
What comes with it?
The tapered 5 inch to 3 inch cover, the K500 keypad, the illuminated waterfall, the champagne bucket, in.touch 3+ Wi-Fi and the Waterlab sensor. All standard, nothing to add on.
Can I sit in one before I decide?
Yes. Come to the Hamilton showroom at 1171 Upper James St, Unit 9A. Bring a swimsuit and book a wet test.
