Foam core is waterlogged - no longer insulating properly.
UV damage and temperature cycles have broken down the outer skin.
Moisture trapped in the foam - impossible to fully decontaminate.
Wind hazard - a loose cover can blow off and damage itself or fencing.
Seal has compressed or delaminated - you're paying to heat the outside.
Hinge failure causes the cover to fold unevenly and wear prematurely.
A waterlogged cover provides almost no insulation. Replacing it with a new foam-core cover often pays for itself in energy savings within one Ontario winter.
Measure your hot tub at the water line (not the cabinet edge) - length, width, and the radius of each corner. Most manufacturers also have a model number inside the equipment compartment that cross-references a standard cover size. Bring measurements to our store or we can measure on-site. We fit covers to any brand.
Standard replacement covers are typically 2–3 weeks from measurement. Expedited orders on some sizes can arrive in 7–10 days. We'll give you an exact lead time when you order. Your existing cover continues to function - we do not take it until the new one arrives.
Yes - most lifters come with detailed installation instructions and require only basic tools (drill and socket wrench). Installation typically takes 30–45 minutes per side. We also offer professional installation through our service team if you prefer.
4lb density foam is the standard recommendation - good balance of insulation, weight, and longevity. For swim spas or large tubs in heavy snow areas, we recommend 4lb with extra reinforcing straps. Our team will recommend the right spec when you order.
